There are plenty of well-bred newcomers in this field but MRS FITZHERBERT sets a decent standard for them to aim at following an encouraging debut effort over C&D last month. The daughter of Kingman stayed on well under hand riding on that occasion and she is fully entitled to improve for that experience. Sans Pretention is arguably the most eye-catching debutant being from the family of the dual Group 2 winner Dupont and she is bred on the same Galileo/Pivotal cross as Magical and Love. Eshaada is a half-sister to the useful handicapper Mutamaasik and it would be no surprise to see her go well. Others to note are Aveta, Lady Morgana and Quenelle D'or.
